The Shady Rest Golf Club (SRGC) was created by five golfers who followed the vision of the late Lamont Davis, whose goal was to celebrate the 100th year anniversary and form the next generation of the Shady Rest.

Today, the SRGC continues to promote this important history through its golf events which foster competitive golf through an exclusive membership program. In addition to golf, the club provides an opportunity for others to learn about the Shady Rest and to preserve the history of the Shady Rest Clubhouse in Scotch Plains, honoring its importance in American history.

The SRGC hosts multiple monthly golf outings locally in NJ, travels the country golfing, and promoting the importance of the Shady Rest.
